In februari 2010 opende Bob Smit Gallery aan het Eendrachtsplein 16 te Rotterdam in een prachtig gerenoveerd herenpand van 175 m2. Bob Smit werd hiermee de jongste galeriehouder van Nederland. De internationaal georiënteerde galerie heeft als doelstelling Rotterdamse kunstenaars te vertegenwoordigen en hen daarmee onder de aandacht te brengen. Vanaf april 2011 is Bob Smit Gallery gevestigd aan de Kortekade 65a te Rotterdam, waar jaarlijks 6 exposities getoond zullen worden. Daarnaast organiseert de galerie in nauwe samenwerking met andere galeries en kunstinstellingen tentoonstellingen op verschillende locaties in zowel binnen- als buitenland.

English - By opening Bob Smit Gallery in February of 2010, beautifully situated in a renovated mansion of 175 m2 at Eendrachtsplein 16 in Rotterdam, Bob Smit became the youngest gallery owner in the Netherlands. The gallery has an international focus and aims to create attention for artists from Rotterdam, by representing them. From April 2011 onwards Bob Smit Gallery will be housed at Kortekade 65a in Rotterdam. This is where 6 expositions will be held annually, besides organising multiple exhibitions on a variety of different locations, both nationally and internationally,in close cooperation with other galleries and art institutions.
